Karen has served on the board of directors of Real
Solutions Living Program, which was a program to help teen aged youths that
were preparing for transitioning out of the foster care system and
learning to live on their own. This included fund raising for the
organization as well as working with the youths. |
| Karen graduated from Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos,
Texas (now known as Texas State University of San Marcos) with a Bachelors
Degree in Business Administration in 1982. |
| Karen received her Juris Doctor Degree from Saint Mary's Law School in
San Antonio, Texas in 1986. |
